Episode 11: How to Read the Bible with Sam Swanson

Season 1 Episode 11

Today's Episode
Welcome to the Open Seat Podcast! On today's episode, we welcome special guest and friend, Samantha Swanson! Sam is a graduate of Colorado Christian University and Biblical scholar, currently finishing a Bible study on the book of Nehemiah. With Sam, we define exegesis before talking about how to read and interpret the Bible well. We discuss methods to try as well as things to avoid, all in hopes of encouraging everyday people that God is able to be known through the Bible!

Our Mission
We recognize that the Bible was written in languages full of richness and beauty. Our goal is to explore the beauty of the New Testament, written in Koine Greek, that can sometimes become obscured in English translations. We desire to bridge the gap of scholarship and make these conversations about Biblical Greek accessible to all curious people. Whether you have studied Greek for years or you are embarking on this journey today, all are welcome to take a seat at the Table.
